Boxing Key Visual – A fictional key visual concept combining my own sports photography with bold typography to capture the impact of boxing in a single image. Developed in Figma, which allowed me to iterate quickly on typography, color and layout.

Process
The photo is my own, taken during one of my boxing shoots. I looked for the one moment that combined the power of the punch with the boxer's concentration, then cropped tightly on this point of action. I converted the image to black and white with strong contrast, added motion blur to make the movement tangible and grain for a raw, gritty feel. For the headline, I chose a bold typeface in red. Having photographed ringside, close enough for sweat and blood to reach us, red was the obvious choice: a primary color that hits like a punch and carries the intensity of the fight. I tested several iterations, including placing the headline at the top and coloring the glove red, but both competed with the image, so the headline moved to the bottom.
